SMS Terms

Precision Cardiology PLLC · Version PC-SMS-2026-09-27

Launching soon. The program's texting number is (832) 346-3318. Texts begin once carrier setup is complete. (832) 972-7300 remains the office voice line.

What the program covers

After you give permission and the program launches, Precision Cardiology PLLC may send administrative text messages about missed-call follow-up, scheduling, and office questions. Some messages may be automated, including a missed-call response and answers drawn only from the practice's approved office information. The program does not include marketing, medical advice, or AI phone calls.

Calling or texting the office does not by itself enroll you. A missed call does not guarantee a text-back.

Your choice to enroll

Enrollment is optional and is not a condition of receiving care. You can enroll in either of two ways.

By text: if you text (832) 346-3318, or we miss your call, you may receive one text asking whether you want these messages. Reply YES to opt in. We record your YES, the time, and the exact request you answered. Without a YES you are not enrolled, and we will not ask again for 30 days. See the exact wording.

By paper: the paper consent form provides a separate, unchecked SMS choice. Provide a mobile number you are authorized to use, sign the form, and return it to office staff. Staff must record your permission before messages can be enabled.

Please tell the office if your number changes or you are no longer authorized to use it.

Frequency, rates, and delivery

Message frequency varies with your calls and administrative conversations. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. Ask your carrier about your plan's charges.

SMS delivery and response times are not guaranteed. Network availability, carrier filtering, and other circumstances may delay or prevent a message. Do not rely on a text for a time-sensitive matter.

Stop messages or get help

Once messaging is active, reply STOP to a program message to withdraw SMS consent. You may receive a final opt-out confirmation. You may also withdraw permission by calling (832) 972-7300. Stopping texts does not affect your care.

Reply HELP for program assistance, or call the office at (832) 972-7300. This voice number is not the program's texting number.

Not for clinical care or emergencies

Do not send symptoms, test results, medication questions, medical images, or other medical details through this program. Use your established patient portal or call the office for clinical concerns.

This is not an emergency service. Messages are not a substitute for medical evaluation, and a prompt response is not guaranteed. For an emergency, call 911.

Privacy and scope

Ordinary SMS is not end-to-end encrypted. Messages may be visible on your phone or to others who can access it. Read the SMS Privacy Notice before deciding to enroll.

These terms apply only to this texting program. They do not replace the practice's clinical consent documents or Notice of Privacy Practices, and enrollment is not a waiver of your privacy rights.
