Information used for texting
The program will use your mobile number, consent choice and evidence, message content, delivery information, and opt-out history to support missed-call follow-up, scheduling, and office questions. Call-completion information may be used to determine whether a missed-call response is appropriate.
Please do not send medical details. Even an administrative text can reveal that you communicate with a healthcare practice.
How information is used and shared
Information will be used to administer the program, honor your choices, route conversations to authorized staff, deliver messages, and maintain consent and messaging records.
We will not sell your mobile information or share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in information and consent will not be shared for those purposes.
Information needed to operate the program may be processed by authorized service providers and mobile carriers involved in storage, support, or message delivery. Access within the practice is limited to authorized personnel with a work-related need. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.
SMS has privacy limits
Ordinary SMS is not end-to-end encrypted. A carrier handles delivery, and messages may appear on a lock screen or be accessible to someone using your phone. No communication method can guarantee complete confidentiality.
Use your established patient portal or call the office for clinical concerns. Consent to this administrative program is not permission to send medical records by text and is not a waiver of your privacy rights.
Your choices
Participation is optional and is not required for care. Once the program is active, reply STOP to withdraw consent or HELP for assistance. You can also call (832) 972-7300 for help, to update your number, or to withdraw permission.
Opting out stops future program messages, apart from an opt-out confirmation; it does not automatically erase prior consent or communication records. Contact the office with questions about those records.
About these pages
The SMS information pages contain no online submission fields, advertising pixels, or analytics scripts. You enroll by replying YES to our consent text or by returning the printed consent sheet to office staff. Website hosting may still process ordinary request information necessary to serve a page.
This notice is specific to the texting program. It does not replace or change the practice's Notice of Privacy Practices or other clinical privacy documents.
